Job summary

Acara Solutions in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a CNC (Kitter) Operator to assist the CNC department by assembling small mechanical components and supporting the warehouse.

You will prepare materials, monitor inventory, perform cycle counts, visually inspect parts, stage kits, and document issued materials in SAP/ERP while coordinating with the Production Supervisor to prioritize daily work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year experience in a warehouse environment
• Minimum 1 year experience performing mechanical assembly

Responsibilities

• Material Preparation: Accurately pull, sort, and organize raw materials, components, and tools for production orders.
• Inventory Accuracy: Perform cycle counts and monitor stock levels to ensure parts are available before a job hits the production floor.
• Quality Inspection: Visually inspect materials for defects before kitting to ensure quality parts reach the machines.
• Organization & Staging: Arrange kits in a logical, organized manner to minimize setup time.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of issued materials using ERP/SAP and label kits properly.
• Communication: Coordinate with Production Supervisor and Foreman to prioritize kits based on daily schedule.
• Safety & Housekeeping: Maintain clean work area and safely operate material handling equipment.

Schedule: 7am - 3:30pm | M-F

About the Opportunity:

Assisting the CNC department assembling small mechanical components and assisting the warehouse area.

What You'll Do:

• Material Preparation: Accurately pull, sort, and organize raw materials, components, and tools required for specific production orders (Work Orders).
• Inventory Accuracy: Perform cycle counts and monitor stock levels to ensure all parts are available before a job hits the production floor.
• Quality Inspection: Visually inspect materials for defects or damage before kitting them to ensure only high-quality parts reach the machines.
• Organization & Staging: Arrange kits in a logical, organized manner (often using carts) to minimize setup time for operators.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of issued materials using the internal tracking system (ERP/SAP) and ensure all kits are properly labeled.
• Communication: Coordinate closely with the Production Supervisor and Foreman to prioritize kits based on the daily production schedule.
• Safety & Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S standards) and safely operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks).
