CNC Integrex 5-Axis Lathe Operator - (Night Shift)

Job Responsibilities

• Operate and set up machines such as Mazak Integrex under minimal supervision, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Interpret drawings, manuals, and specifications to determine dimensions and setup requirements.
• Measure and mark workpieces for machining, and detect/make adjustments for equipment malfunctions.
• Assist in solving plant operating problems and participate in cost reduction projects.
• Operate forklifts and lifting devices for parts movement.
• Communicate with team members to resolve machining and quality issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and perform basic preventative maintenance.
• Enforce company health, safety, and environmental rules.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass drug and background checks.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience with Mazak Integrex or similar in manufacturing.
• Experience with Integrex controls and ability to create setups.
• Strong skills in reading drawings, specifications, and understanding geometric tolerances.
• Basic math skills including geometry and algebra.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and indicators.
• Knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, and machining inserts.
