Vincennes University Gene Haas Technical Education Center – Lebanon, Indiana, seeks a part-time Adjunct CNC Instructor to deliver high-quality CNC training and supervise student progress. You will develop curriculum, collaborate with peers, and engage diverse students in hands-on Haas CNC mill and lathe coursework.
The role requires an associate degree in machining (or related field), 3 years of machining experience, and the ability to travel for onsite industry training.
The Haas Technical Education Center CNC Instructor is responsible to the Assistant Vice President of Outreach & Engagement for the delivery of quality instruction and management of students enrolled in CNC training. Responsibilities will include the instruction, development, implementation, and evaluation of CNC training programs in collaboration with peers. Duties include, but are not limited to:
· National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) Credentials: Measurement, Materials, & Safety and Job Planning, Benchwork, and Layout
College level appropriate for teaching, recruitment, and retention of students and representation of Vincennes University.
Skills appropriate to effectively teach,forecast needs, and generate reports.
Excellent oral & written communication skills. Friendly, outgoing, respectful attitude.
