Job summary

Cornell Pump Company is seeking a skilled CNC Industrial Maintenance Technician for our Clackamas, OR location. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing CNC machinery, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a manufacturing setting.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, CNC troubleshooting expertise, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. On-site position with daytime hours and overtime available.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing CNC industrial equipment.
  • Must be able to operate lifting equipment and forklifts.
  • Willingness to be on call and address issues as they arise.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive/corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
  • Repair and adjust machinery to meet specifications and performance.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues with diagnostic tools.
  • Maintain and repair facility plumbing and electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with Operations to identify recurring issues and implement solutions.
  • Ensure safety regulations and company policies are followed to maintain a safe workplace.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate with 3rd party vendors for specialized CNC repairs and services.

Job description

Cornell Pump is seeking a highly skilled CNC Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Clackamas location. This position is ideal for an experienced maintenance professional with strong CNC service, repair, and troubleshooting experience who is comfortable maintaining and repairing machinery, equipment, plumbing, and electrical systems within a manufacturing environment.

Location: Clackamas, OR
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. | Overtime Available
Pay Range: $35.00–$45.00/hour (DOE)

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct routine inspections and corrective and preventive maintenance tasks on manufacturing equipment.
  • Perform repairs and adjustments to machinery to ensure optimal performance and adherence to specifications.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Maintain and repair facility infrastructure such as plumbing and electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with Operations staff to identify recurring issues and implement permanent solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to create a safe working environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
  • Engage and manage 3 rd Party vendors and service providers where necessary, e.g., in-depth CNC repair, office refurbs, etc.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial manufacturing environment

Experience troubleshooting and repairing CNC industrial equipment.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be able to operate lifting equipment and forklifts.
  • Must be willing to be on call to address issues as they arise.
  • Must have strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and committed to safe work practices.
