Job summary
FC Industries Inc in Dayton, Ohio is seeking a CNC Group Lead to guide and support a CNC production team while acting as a backup Setup Technician. You will help troubleshoot issues, manage tooling and offsets, and assist with changeovers to keep production moving.
Ideal candidates have strong CNC experience and leadership aspirations. You will contribute to a safe, productive work environment and mentor team members as the organization grows.
Qualifications
- CNC machining experience is required.
- Experience with single- and dual-spindle CNC machines.
- CNC setup experience and tooling adjustments.
- Ability to read blueprints and machining requirements.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support a CNC production group to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality production.
- Provide direction and technical support to CNC operators.
- Troubleshoot equipment, tooling, quality, and production issues.
- Serve as backup CNC Setup Technician when needed.
- Set up and support single-spindle and dual-spindle CNC machines.
- Train and develop team members.
- Communicate production concerns to supervisors and management.
- Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
