FC Industries, Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Group Lead and backup Setup Technician for BarSplice. You will guide a CNC production group, troubleshoot issues, and support machine setups while remaining hands-on with CNC equipment.

Ideal candidates have strong CNC experience and leadership potential, with a path to grow into a larger role within our growing manufacturing family in Ohio. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• CNC machining experience and ability to read blueprints.
• Experience with single-spindle and dual-spindle CNC machines.
• CNC setup experience with tooling and offset adjustments.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to own tasks and keep a team moving forward.
• Willingness to learn; prior lead experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a CNC production group to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production.
• Provide direction and troubleshooting support to CNC operators.
• Help resolve equipment, tooling, quality, and production issues.
• Serve as backup CNC Setup Technician when needed.
• Set up and support single- and dual-spindle CNC machines.
• Assist with tooling, offsets, and machine adjustments.
• Aid changeovers and ensure equipment is ready for production.
• Train and develop team members.
• Communicate production concerns and opportunities to supervision.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, engineering, and production leadership.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
