Job summary

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity for a CNC Machine Operator - Grinder in Little Chute, WI. The role is on 2nd shift, 3:00pm–1:00am, with a wage range of $20.00–$25.00 per hour and potential to hire after a successful probationary period.

The candidate will set up and operate various CNC grinding machines, verify tolerances with precision instruments, and perform preventative maintenance while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; minimum of three years in manufacturing, grinding, or CNC operations.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately and work with tolerances.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC grinding machines, including rotary surface grinders, 5-axis Walter grinders, OD and ID grinders.
• Use calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, bore gauges, and CMMs to verify tolerances.
• Follow detailed work instructions and printed travelers to execute tasks precisely.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections, including first-piece and SPC checks, to uphold quality.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on grinding equipment and maintain a clean workspace.
• Program, edit, and troubleshoot CNC machines to optimize performance and accuracy.
