Qualifications

• Previous experience with CNC grinding and/or deburring preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.

• Basic knowledge of machining processes and materials.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC cylinder grinding machines to produce precision parts per specs.
• Set up and adjust grinding equipment, including wheel changes and offsets.
• Perform deburring of machined parts with hand and power tools.
• Remove sharp edges to meet quality standards and finish surfaces.
• Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and measurement tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and GD&T.
• Maintain production and quality documentation.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep area clean and organized.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet deadlines.

Location:Elk River, Minnesota

Pay: Deburring - $20.00 an hour and Grinder - $23.00-$25.00 an hour!

Schedule: Monday – Thursday: 6:00am – 4:30pm Friday: 6:00am – 12:00pm (46 hours per week)

Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-orientedCNC Cylinder Grinder / Deburring Technicianto join our team. This position is responsible for operating CNC grinding equipment to finish precision components while also performing deburring and surface finishing to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a machining experience and a strong eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC cylinder grinding machines to produce precision parts to specifications
• Set up and adjust grinding equipment, including wheel changes and offsets
• Perform deburring of machined parts using hand tools and power tools
• Remove sharp edges, burrs, and excess material to meet quality standards
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and GD&T
• Maintain production and quality documentation
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work area clean and organized
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet deadlines

Qualifications:

Preferred (Not Required):
