Job summary

Parker Aerospace in Danville, KY is seeking a Machine Operator to set up and run a variety of machines and furnaces in a fast-paced production facility. You will monitor processing, troubleshoot issues, and document quality data while following detailed prints and instructions.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma and 2-4 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools. Team collaboration and safe work practices are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple manufacturing prints.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines, carbon layup equipment, and furnaces.
• Monitor data, troubleshoot, and perform limited preventative maintenance.
• Handle materials using hoists, cranes, tow motors, pallet trucks, etc.
• Follow detailed work instructions and prints, and document quality data.
• Use calipers, micrometers and measuring equipment as required.
• Move materials to keep production flowing and order production materials as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members and participate in daily production improvements.
• Perform receiving, packing and shipping duties as assigned and maintain a clean, safe work area.
