Job summary

Storm-Search- is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver on-site service, installation, repair, and preventive maintenance for CNC machinery at customer sites across the Philadelphia and New England areas.

Ideal candidates have hands-on CNC service experience, strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to travel extensively with minimal supervision. Open to Field Service Technician II (3–5 years) and Senior (10–15 years) level applicants.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (or equivalent) in electronics, hydraulics, or a related mechanical field, and 5+ years of related experience — or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Hands-on CNC service experience and knowledge of Siemens/FANUC controls.
• Willingness to travel extensively across assigned regions.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site service, installation, repair, and preventive maintenance on CNC machinery at customer locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic malfunctions on CNC equipment, including Siemens and FANUC controls.
• Perform installs, repairs, inspections, and setups on machinery with minimal supervision.
• Maintain accurate service documentation, submit paperwork and expenses weekly, and provide status updates.
