Job summary
A leading recruitment agency is seeking a CNC Field Service Technician to join the expanding team responsible for the repair and maintenance of CNC machine tools in the New England territory. Candidates should have 2+ years as a technician, strong technical skills including problem solving and attention to detail, and the ability to travel regionally. A valid driver's license and basic hand tools are required for this on-the-road position, along with a strong understanding of CNC controls and precision machinery.
Qualifications
2+ years as a CNC Field Service Technician or Engineer highly preferred.
3+ years of experience working with CNC controls.
Experience with precision rotating machinery, spindles, precision bearings highly beneficial.
Responsibilities
Travel to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain CNC machine tool equipment and controls.
Identify areas for performance improvement on equipment; perform and promote preventative maintenance.
Effectively communicate machine issues and ensure proper documentation.
