Alumacraft Boat Company in St. Peter, MN, is seeking a Fabricator – Aluminum Boat Manufacturing to support production by supplying departments with clean, high-quality aluminum, plastic, or wood parts cut by a CNC router.

You will follow prints and tolerances to ensure precise parts for aluminum fishing boats. The role requires CT operations, quality control, and the ability to work with various hand tools.

Formación

• 6+ months experience in machine operation.
• 6+ months experience reading prints/shop cards, schedules, and rework logs.
• Demonstrated basic computer skills and experience with software for programming machines.
• Ability to prioritize job’s and communicate necessary information to peers and supervisors.
• Demonstrated understanding of machine guarding, machine isolation (LOTO), and general safety operating procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate CNC router, align tools, test plates and verify machine accuracy.
• Perform quality checks for burrs, sharp edges, slag and correct hole spacing; deburr parts.
• Load/unload parts, secure on tables, transport to carts.
• Run CNC programs and modify them for defects or malfunctions.
• Maintain machines/tools and perform preventative maintenance per manufacturers’ guidelines.
• Learn and operate other equipment as needed (decoiler, forklift, baler, bandsaw, sweeper).
• Keep work area clean and safe, follow incident reporting and rework escalation processes.
• Train other employees on equipment and procedures, communicate issues to leads and supervisors.
• Pull parts per part list and ensure Kanban replenishment.
