Job summary

US Tech Force in Waukesha, WI is seeking a talented CNC fabrication machine operator for a custom fabrication shop. The ideal candidate will have experience running fabrication equipment such as a laser, CNC, or press brake, and will be responsible, dedicated and skilled.

You will analyze drawings, set up parts, weld, clean parts, and ensure safety and quality in a fast-paced shop environment. Previous fab shop experience and ability to read blueprints are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Machine effectively and safely.
• Analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, sketches, work orders, and material safety data sheets to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations.
• Chip or grind off excess weld, slag, or spatter, using hand scrapers or power chippers, portable grinders, or arc-cutting equipment.
• Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding.
• Clean or degrease parts, using wire brushes, portable grinders, or chemical baths.
• Welding and soldering of parts.
