FlexTrades is hiring experienced CNC ESPRIT Programmers for nationwide, project-based assignments supporting high-precision machining operations across the U.S. This role is ideal for skilled programmers with Esprit CAM experience who enjoy working with advanced CNC machinery in fast‑paced, high‑performance environments.

Key Skills Summary

• Program CNC machines and perform setup and prove‑out at the machine
• Transition validated programs to operators for production
• Work from 3D models created in CREO Parametric, provided in STEP file format
• Combine separate mill and turning operations into single‑machine processes

Qualifications

• Experience with ESPRIT CAM, CREO Parametric, and STEP files
• Ability to perform macro programming for machine and part variables
• Understanding of GD&T callouts (runout, position, perpendicularity, finish)
• Familiarity with Vericut for program simulation (preferred)
• Ability to program Renishaw probing
• Willingness to create setup sheets using provided templates
• Comfortable working with a wide range of metal materials, including slugs, round bar stock, carbon steel castings, and heat‑treated parts

Equipment Experience (Based on Skill Level)

• Okuma B300 Multus multitasking lathe and Okuma LB3000 dual spindle, single turret machines (live tooling, 120‑tool capacity, 6‑axis operation)
• Controllers: OSP‑P500 and OSP‑P300 (preferred)
• Makino 4‑axis Horizontal Mills with Pro 3 controls and multi‑pallet systems
• Makino 3‑ and 4‑axis Vertical Mills with Pro 3 controls
• Hitachi Seiki or Okuma 2‑axis lathes with Fanuc controls
