Job summary

Ingersoll Rand seeks a CNC Equipment Reliability Technician to maintain and repair production machinery onsite in Tulsa, OK. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, and ensure safe operation of equipment.

Responsibilities include diagnosing faults, updating CMMS records, installing components, and supporting continuous improvement projects with a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
  • Hands-on experience with production machinery troubleshooting and repair.
  • Reading and applying technical drawings, schematics, manuals, and work instructions.
  • Proficiency with standard hand/power tools and diagnostic instruments.
  • Basic computer skills for maintenance documentation and work orders.

Responsibilities

  • Execute preventative maintenance on production equipment per established schedules.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Diagnose faults and perform corrective maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime.
  • Inspect machinery; identify and replace worn or defective parts and components.
  • Install, adjust, and align machine components and assemblies.
  • Reassemble and test equipment to verify safe, proper operation.

  • Maintain PM records, repair logs, and documentation in the CMMS.
  • Assist with equipment installs, modifications, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Follow safety policies and LOTO procedures; keep work areas clean.

CNC Equipment Reliability TechnicianLocation: Tulsa, OK (onsite)A day in the lifeYou begin your shift walking the production floor, ears tuned for unusual spindle noise and eyes scanning PM dashboards. A lathe is due for a scheduled inspection, so you grease bearings, check drive belts, and confirm lubrication circuits are flowing. Mid-morning, a CNC throws a servo alarm—you isolate the fault using schematics, test low-voltage controls with a meter, and replace a worn encoder cable to get the line back up quickly. After lunch, you help install a new conveyor, align guards, and verify three-phase rotation. You wrap up by updating the CMMS with parts used, logging corrective actions, and coordinating tomorrows priorities with productionalways with safety and lockout/tagout top of mind.Role impactThis role keeps our manufacturing assets running safely and efficiently by installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production machinerywith occasional facility repairs when needed.What youll doExecute preventative maintenance on production equipment per established schedules.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.Diagnose faults and perform corrective maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime.Inspect machinery; identify and replace worn or defective parts and components.Install, adjust, and align machine components and assemblies.Reassemble and test equipment to verify safe, proper operation.Interpret work orders, manuals, drawings, and wiring schematics.Maintain accurate PM records, repair logs, and documentation in the CMMS.Assist with equipment installs, modifications, and continuous improvement projects.Partner with production to prioritize work and support throughput goals.Manage spare parts usage and identify replenishment needs.Safely operate hand/power tools, lifts, hoists, and related equipment.Handle general facility maintenance (lighting, plumbing, basic building systems).Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.Follow all safety policies and LOTO procedures; perform other duties as assigned.What you bringHigh school diploma or GED.3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing (preferred).Hands-on experience with production machinery troubleshooting and repair.Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems, low-voltage controls, motor controls, and three-phase power.Ability to read and apply technical drawings, schematics, manuals, and work instructions.Proficiency with standard hand/power tools and diagnostic instruments.Basic computer skills for maintenance documentation and work orders.Self-directed with strong prioritization skills.Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform standing, bending, climbing, and reaching.Core strengthsMechanical and electrical troubleshooting (including low-voltage control, motor control, and 3-phase power).Attention to detail and quality workmanship.Clear communication and teamwork.Safety-first mindset.Organization and time management.Continuous improvement approach.Preferred extrasAssociate degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or related.Experience with PM programs and CMMS platforms.Background maintaining CNC machinery, assembly lines, conveyors, or automated systems.Forklift, scissor lift, or aerial lift certification.Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.Schedule, travel, and locationOnsite role in Tulsa, OK.No travel required.Overtime as needed, including some weekends or extended shifts.CompensationStarting pay range: $25.00 $32.00 per hour.
