Job summary

Certified PowerTrain in the United States is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement on plant equipment, HVAC, hydraulics, and electrical systems. Responsibilities include owning the preventative maintenance program and supporting CNC machinery.

You will troubleshoot CNC lathes and mills, update repair logs, and collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to improve processes while maintaining safety standards and LOTO compliance.

Qualifications

• 3 years of maintenance troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Post high school education/training in electronics.
• Knowledge of Fanuc and Haas controls preferred.
• Experience with CNC machines, hydraulics and electrical systems.
• Ability to read schematics, engineering prints and manuals.
• Basic fabrication and welding skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and autonomous work capability.

Responsibilities

• Own the preventative maintenance program for plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair CNC lathes, mills, hobbing machines and saws.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Supervisor on projects and materials.
• Update and track machine repair in systems database.
• Maintain safety and adhere to LOTO procedures.
• Recommend process improvements and fabricate tooling/fixturing.
• Monitor tooling levels and support maintenance scheduling.
