Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking an onsite CNC drill operator to inspect and set up drilling machines for aircraft parts and assemblies. You’ll work from blueprints, perform precise setups, and ensure dimensional accuracy. Strong knowledge of CNC controls and precision gauges is required.

The role offers full-time hours on second shift with comprehensive benefits and on-site work in Riverside, CA. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required or related technical education.
• Experience setting up and operating CNC drilling machines.
• Experience using precision measurement tools (gauges, micrometers, calipers).
• Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing documents.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machined parts, assemblies and tooling for workmanship and dimensional accuracy.
• Set up and operate CNC drilling machines with various control units.
• Check parts against specifications and notify supervision of malfunctions.
• Perform precise drill setups and change cycles using fixtures and indicators.
• Work from blueprints and sketches and ensure conformance to specs.
