Job summary

Valmont Industries is seeking a CNC Drill Operator in the Small Parts Fabrication department in Nebraska. The role involves operating upright drill presses, CNC machining center, saw, and other tools to produce parts according to blueprints and specifications.

Qualified candidates will read production drawings, measure precisely, and coordinate with team members. The position is on the 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, 3:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• 1 year manufacturing experience.
• 6 months CNC drill or similar machine experience.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Ability to read a tape measure and micrometer.
• Ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Operate upright drill presses, CNC machining center, saw, radial arm drill and hand drills.
• Read and interpret production drawings and blueprints.
• Use measuring instruments to fabricate components.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and ensure proper setup sequences.
• Report any equipment issues to supervisor or lead person.
