Job summary

Reich Tool & Design in Wisconsin seeks a CNC Department Lead to mentor the CNC team, develop programs, and drive process improvements. You will schedule workloads, ensure quality and safety, and collaborate across departments in a fast-paced, climate-controlled shop.

The role requires 7–10 years of CNC experience, proficiency in CNC programming, SolidWorks and CAD/CAM, and GD&T skills. US citizenship is required; this is a full-time, first-shift position with potential overtime.

Qualifications

7–10 years CNC machining experience.
Knowledge of CNC programming software.
SolidWorks and CAD/CAM proficiency.
GD&T and reading complex prints.
CAD/3D knowledge preferred; Journeyman's card a plus.
U.S. citizenship required; experience in automotive, aerospace or medical fields preferred.

Responsibilities

Coach and mentor team members, develop technical capabilities and professional growth.
Schedule and manage department workload.
Problem-solve machining projects from start to finish and design fixtures.
Ensure quality, safety and efficiency per standards; lead process improvements.
Assist in quoting CNC work when needed; pursue ongoing learning and leadership training.
Collaborate with cross‑department teams and support shop supervisors.
Maintain paperwork and support ISO 9001, ISO 13485, 5S and LEAN initiatives.
