Job summary

U.S. Tsubaki, a leading manufacturer of power transmission and motion control products, seeks a manufacturing operator in Sandusky, OH. You will set up and run bending presses, profile cutting, and machining centers while interpreting blueprints and maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role involves early- and late-shift dynamics with potential overtime, a strong emphasis on teamwork and problem solving, and a pathway to contribute to ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• 1-2 years experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Safety sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates bending presses and heating units for bending, forming or offsetting.
• Operates profile cutting machine, crane, robotic scrap disposal, machining center and parts marker.
• Reads and interprets blueprints; selects tooling per code or drawing.
• Monitors gauges and controls; makes adjustments as needed.
• Maintains quality to meet ISO specifications and blueprint requirements.
• Interacts with Design Engineer (plasma) and others for process improvements.
