Job summary

Randstad is recruiting for a Controls Engineer in Independence, Kentucky. The role focuses on hands-on development of CNC/PLC programs, high voltage schematics, and servo system design. Work hours are 8am–4pm in a permanent position with competitive benefits.

The target candidate will document complex control logic, repair ladder and structured text programs, and collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot electrical and control systems. High School education required.

Qualifications

• Experience writing CNC and PLC programs.
• Ability to design high voltage schematics and I/O layouts.
• Proficient in ladder logic, structured text, and parametric programs.

Responsibilities

• Write and document complex CNC and PLC programs.
• Design and layout of high voltage schematics and I/O.
• Write and repair high-level ladder circuits, structured text programs, and parametric programs.
• Design of servo systems for machine tools.
• Assist with final troubleshooting of all electrical and control systems.
• Design operator's pendants and magnetics panels.
