Job summary

Terex Corporation seeks a Production Configurator & Programmer to oversee the site’s production configurator, create BOMs, and expand the configurator across products. You will lead laser-plasma cutter and CNC programming efforts, collaborating with the manufacturing support team and production control for routings and work orders.

You will translate specs into automated processes, optimize tool paths, and ensure software reflects current capabilities, driving efficiency and consistency across

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in CNC programming or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of hands-on automation or CNC programming experience (G-Code or equivalent)
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (Creo, Mastercam) and GD&T reading skills

Responsibilities

• Translate engineering and sales specs into the product Configurator
• Convert designs into automated BOMs, routings, assembly instructions, and CNC programs
• Write and optimize cutting programs for laser-plasma cutter and CNC machines
• Develop tool paths from engineering drawings using CAD/CAM software
• Run simulations or test runs to optimize cycle times and reduce waste
• Identify and resolve issues between configuration logic and machine production
• Keep configuration software up to date with current capabilities
