Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking a CNC Cell Lead for large-scale milling and G-code optimization in the Duluth, MN area. Direct-hire, exclusive 1st shift, with a starting rate up to $34/hr, overtime eligibility, profit sharing and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will own complex setups on large milling centers, edit G-code at the controller, apply GD&T, mentor junior operators, and coordinate with design engineering and welding teams to optimize workflows.

Qualifications

• 2-Year Technical Diploma or Associate Degree in CNC Machining / Machine Tool Technology.
• Heavy machining depth and independent setups on large milling centers.
• Proficiency with controller-level G&M code editing, unproven program optimization, and GD&T.
• Strong diagnostic intuition to adjust cutting parameters and prevent tool deflection.
• Solid, progressive work history with long-term tenure and growth.
• US Citizenship or Green Card within driving radius of Duluth, MN / Superior, WI.

Responsibilities

• Perform Complex Independent Setups on large-scale CNC milling centers and multi-axis machines.
• Edit G-Code and optimize program paths at the controller to machine precision parts.
• Interpret engineering prints and apply GD&T standards for optimal sequences.
• Conduct first-article inspections with precision metrology tools.
• Collaborate with design engineers and welding teams to remove roadblocks.
• Provide floor leadership and mentor junior operators on setup techniques.
