You roll plate components to spec, confirm every dimension against the print, and keep the line moving. If that sounds like your pace, our client wants you on their high-volume fabrication team.About the RoleThis is a hands-on production position in a heavy fabrication environment. We’re seeking an experienced operator who can work independently from day one—no entry-level training is available. You’ll primarily run CNC burning and 4-roll plate rolling equipment, while pitching in across the shop to keep throughput high and schedules on track.What You’ll Handle Day-to-DayBurn table mastery: Boot and set up CNC burn tables, load existing programs, validate nesting layouts, set torch height, confirm cut parameters, check consumables, and resolve basic cut issues.Plate rolling: Operate 4-roll machines to form thin through heavy plate up to 1-1/2” thick x 10’ wide, producing shell plates, vessel cans, and manway necks to engineering prints.Section bending: Run 3-roll pipe rollers (1” up to 4’ diameter) and 3-roll angle rollers to bend 1”x1” through 5”x5” sections, leg-in and leg-out.Material moves: Load/unload heavy plate and finished parts using forklifts and overhead cranes, following strict safety practices.Quality on every piece: Check parts against drawings, diagnose cut-quality issues, mark/etch, and stage components for weld and fab teams.What You Bring5–10 years of professional experience burning and rolling plate (highly preferred).Background working with carbon steel and/or stainless steel.Confidence to run independently with minimal supervision.Willingness to complete a hands-on equipment test before a formal offer (senior-level role).Altra burn table familiarity is a strong plus.Why You’ll Want This SeatTop-tier pay for elite skills: $24.00–$26.00/hr plus a $3.00/hr performance bonus.Real autonomy: If you can read prints, verify nests, and execute clean cuts and rolls, you own the station—no micromanaging.Meaningful builds: Your work shapes components for storage tanks, pressure vessels, and structural assemblies.Long-term stability: Full-time role in a collaborative, safety-first shop with steady production.Ready to roll?If you’re a safety-minded pro who thrives in high-output environments and takes pride in precision, we’d like to talk.
