Job summary

Venus Aerospace is seeking a Facility Maintenance and Automation Technician to support the facility department. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility systems and automated CNC machinery with emphasis on preventive maintenance and safety.

The technician will ensure uptime through planned maintenance, fast response to issues, and accurate CMMS documentation. Responsibilities include diagnosing faults, performing repairs, coordinating with vendors, and supporting reliability and

Qualifications

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for industrial machinery.
Experience reading mechanical/electrical schematics and manuals.
Familiar with CMMS usage in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to create/update work orders and track PMs.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on automated CNC machines.
Execute scheduled PM tasks to keep equipment within spec.
Diagnose faults and perform corrective repairs to restore production.
Inspect and replace worn components and verify machine operation after service.
Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring failures and suggesting actions.
Maintain and troubleshoot facility systems such as HVAC, pumps, and electricals.
Use CMMS to manage maintenance work and documentation.
