About this Position:

This position coordinates total maintenance operations, managing Equipment Service Technicians, Staff, and Team Leaders. Responsible for developing and improving preventative maintenance reliability programs, and leading a team focused on CNC, robot, and automation systems. The role involves overseeing preventative maintenance strategies, troubleshooting automation systems, and ensuring smooth operation of manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience leading multi-shift teams, with a strong background in CNC and robot automation repair, and managing maintenance programs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Analyze/evaluate equipment failures and develop effective countermeasures.
• Identify hidden failures and develop solutions.
• Determine preventative and predictive maintenance needs.
• Perform root cause analysis.
• Analyze equipment operations to minimize failures.
• Use CMMS (Maximo) to analyze failure frequencies, repairs, MTTR, MTBF, and perform repair vs. replace decisions.
• Lead and develop a team of Equipment Service Technicians in CNC and automation.
• Coordinate maintenance for CNC, robotics, and automation systems.
• Perform root cause analysis and develop corrective actions.
• Analyze CMMS data for trends and performance metrics.
• Ensure continuous process improvements to minimize failures.
• Oversee repair vs. replace decisions for critical equipment.
• Manage shift operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.

Who we are seeking:

• Minimum 2-8 years manufacturing experience.
• Applicable two-year Electrical-Mechanical degree or relevant experience.

Desired skills:

• PLC troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of automation and manufacturing equipment.
• Basic understanding of chain conveyor systems.

Additional Position Factors:

• Exposure to oils, solvents, fumes, confined spaces, grease, dirt.
• Travel: up to twice per year, one week per event, plus some daily travel.
• Overtime: estimated 40-80 hours monthly.
