Job summary

Copeland in Rushville, IN is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer focused on machining. You will lead NPD and manufacturing launch readiness, and drive regional capital investments to implement new equipment, tooling, and gauging systems.

You will create and modify CNC programs, optimize processes with lean methods, and collaborate with global teams. Strong CAD/CAM experience and GD&T proficiency are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate/Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering and 3+ years of experience.
• Intermediate to advanced CNC programming knowledge and experience.
• Ability to interpret GD&T on technical drawings and apply to machining.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPD and production launch readiness for component machining.
• Drive regional capital investment projects to specify and implement new equipment and tooling.
• Create/modify CNC programs to meet drawings using best practices for quality and productivity.
• Identify cost reductions and drive lean improvements in automation and processes.
• Provide project status updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Support innovation and adoption of advanced manufacturing technology.
