Job summary

Dreams 2 Reality Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Senior Manufacturing Engineer with deep CNC programming and machining expertise for automotive production. You will develop CNC programs, optimize toolpaths, troubleshoot floor issues, and drive process improvements with Operations, Quality, and Maintenance on site.

The role emphasizes improving OEE, throughput, and quality while integrating Lean/Six Sigma methods. Temporary assignment, with close coordination to shutdown planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years CNC programming and machining in automotive/high-volume environments.
• Strong CNC turning/milling experience on lathes and VMCs.
• Experience with Fuji and Mori Seiki platforms is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Mastercam or CAM software and AutoCAD.
• Solid GD&T, drawings interpretation, and tolerancing knowledge.
• Hands-on CNC programming, toolpaths, and Machining optimization experience.
• Knowledge of carbide tooling, inserts, tool holders, and fixtures.
• Fixture design experience and hydraulic/pneumatic workholding familiarity.
• Familiarity with CMMs, Zoller presets, SPC, Cp/Cpk, and process controls.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and mentor on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, optimize, and validate CNC programs for turning/milling, including lathes and VMCs.
• Lead CNC programming, toolpath development, and cutting strategy optimization for automotive parts.
• Improve machining processes to raise throughput, OEE, and reduce scrap.
• Select and implement cutting tools, inserts, tool holders, and fixtures.
• Troubleshoot tool wear, chatter, cycle-time issues, and dimensional variation.
• Provide hands-on floor support to resolve machining challenges.
• Collaborate with Quality to maintain Cp/Cpk and process capability.
• Refine parameters, tooling, fixtures, and methods for reliability and quality.
• Support fixture/workholding development, hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Drive Lean and Six Sigma projects for cost reduction and productivity.
