Job summary

DONSON MACHINE CO is looking for an entry-level CNC support team member in Alsip, IL. No CNC experience is required; you will start in a support role and can enter a 9-week training bootcamp to advance into CNC machinist roles in lathe, mill, or EDM departments.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent.
• 2 years job experience (part-time/summer jobs okay for those just graduating).
• Be punctual and maintain an excellent attendance record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk up to 90% of the day.
• Ability to bend, twist, turn, and reach up to 100% of the day.
• Ability to work in a shop environment with exposure to potentially hazardous metal working machinery and equipment, loud noises, dust, mist, oils and solvents.

• Be prepared to be taught daily and actively take notes and apply feedback.
• Be creative and look for ways to improve processes.
• Continuously strive to help improve processes and workflows.
