Job summary

DONSON MACHINE CO in Alsip, IL is seeking a CNC machinist to operate and setup lathes and mills, read blueprints including GD&T, and verify parts meet tight tolerances. The role includes inspecting parts, running production on assigned machines, and maintaining a safe, efficient work area.

Night shift (4:30PM–3:00AM, Mon–Thu) with potential overtime; 3-day weekends; 10% night shift premium; competitive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401K, paid holidays and vacation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC setup or operation on lathes or mills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints including GD&T features.
• Ability to manipulate G-Code, adjust offsets and touch-off tools.

• Hit efficiency goals when operating machines.
