Job summary

GC Products LLC, a subsidiary of Armstrong World Industries, is seeking a Jr. / Apprentice Machinist to join the Lincoln, CA team.

You will learn to program, set up, and operate CNC routers and foam-cutting equipment while creating molds for cement- and gypsum-based architectural products. You will learn under senior CNC Programmer/Operators, gain hands-on experience in mold fabrication, and develop skills in Enroute and Mastercam.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Vocational training in machining or CNC operation.
Familiar with Enroute and Mastercam is a plus.

Responsibilities

Learn to create and prepare working drawings and files for mold fabrication.
Assist setup and operation of CNC routers from start to finish under supervision.
Develop proficiency in Enroute & Mastercam for CNC cutting and file prep.
Support CAD and Molding fabrication departments with general tasks.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Help with routine CNC maintenance and inspect molds.
Monitor stock materials and verify received materials.
Follow GC Products safety standards and OSHA requirements.
Train to safely operate forklift.
Inspect completed molds and assist in final fabrication.
