Qualifications

• Requires education generally equivalent to a High School diploma.
• 2–3 years of experience preferred but not required.

• Must be able to collaborate with others to proactively develop solutions.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to work with standard and metric measurements.

Responsibilities

• Operate one or more grinding, lathe, saw and milling machines to manufacture parts per blueprints.
• Set up, adjust and run machines safely and efficiently.
• Review blueprints and select tooling and settings for each work order.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area; follow safety procedures.
• Perform quality checks and measurements to ensure conformance to specs.
• Handle occasional forklift operation and basic shop support tasks.
• Support other departments with machining and deburring as needed.

responsible for the timely and accurate manufacture of parts per print

specifications utilizing a variety of machining centers safely. They may

also make or repair machine tools and maintain industrial machines. Job

Responsibilities & Essential Functions of the Job: Check for defective

parts on materials and performs maintenance on machines. Identify

material to be utilized in the manufacturing process. Identify various

types of tooling. Maintain clean and safe work area. Set up, operate,

and maintain one or more grinders, lathes, saws, and milling machines.

Review and understand blueprints to ensure accurate production.

Accurately take precise measurements. Select appropriate tooling and

settings for a given work order. Plan proper sequence of tasks to

complete a work order. Check output for quality assurance. Program and

prove out programs to achieve desired result. Occasional Job
