Job summary

STS Aerospace is a leading aerospace manufacturer specializing in fluid conveyance solutions for commercial aviation, defense, and space applications. The CNC Applications Manager provides technical leadership for programming, process development, tooling applications, and shop-floor support to optimize complex, tight-tolerance components across 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines.

Qualifications

Extensive hands-on CNC manufacturing experience in programming, setup, prove-out, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
Advanced proficiency with Mastercam or comparable CAD/CAM software.
Experience with 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machining centers and lathes.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize CNC programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining centers, CNC lathes, and mill-turn machines.
Lead tooling selections and cutting-data recommendations to improve productivity and surface finish.
Provide hands-on shop-floor support during setup, prove-out, and production launches to ensure first-pass success.
Troubleshoot programming, tooling, setup, and machining issues to minimize downtime and nonconformances.
Train CNC personnel and develop standard methods and templates for repeatable results.
