Job summary

CAD/CAM Recruiters is seeking a seasoned CNC Applications Engineer to support a new office footprint around the Charlotte area. The role involves traveling to client sites, training operators on Mills and Lathes, and programming machines using preferred CAM software.

Candidates will create process layouts and perform time studies to demonstrate machine benefits. Ideal applicants have hands-on CNC programming and manufacturing engineering experience, with the ability to present data and solutions

Qualifications

• Must be able to train customers on all machines (Mills, Lathes).
• Program all machines with CAM system of choice.
• Create process and tooling layouts for customer parts.
• Spec out tooling for test cuts and turnkey projects.
• Create PowerPoints to present time study and test cut data.

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle time studies for all machines in both simulation and Excel format.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams during site visits and training.
• Support ongoing turnkey projects with design and optimization input.

** CNC APPLICATION ENGINEER **

New position as result of new office in greater CLT but candidate doesnt have to be located

in CLT area, but would be convenient. North of CLT also a little convenient. Location in adjoining states is ok.

Seek seasoned cnc programmer/ MFG engineer who is tired of \"same ole, same ole\".

Varied duties day to day, someone enjoy interaction with others... there will be travel but

compensation is flexible.

Must be able to:

• Perform customer training on all machines ( Mills, lathes)


• Program all machines (whatever CAM system they prefer)
