Job summary

ChampionX, now part of SLB, is seeking a CNC App Programmer for Tulsa, OK. You will review systems, fix bugs, and help upgrade applications while collaborating with senior developers to translate customer needs into code.

You will participate in testing, change-management planning, training materials, and user communications, with a focus on reliability, security, and continuous improvement in a safety-sensitive environment.

Qualifications

• Four year college or university degree in Information Technology, Computer Sciences, Business or related field, or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Reviews current systems and develops solutions to system bugs.
• Collaborates with senior developers to translate customer needs into code and testing protocols.
• Works with the user to ensure testing is executed as planned; documents findings and develops solutions.
• Assists with change management planning, including release planning, training materials, and user communication.
• Maintains or upgrades existing systems, including coding, testing, and release.
• Contributes to the department continuous improvement culture.
• Maintains confidentiality of all matters.
• Other duties as required.

What you will do:

• Reviews current systems and develops solutions to system bugs.
• Works with more senior developers to understand customer needs and systems analysis; develops code to address the needs; develop testing protocols for the system upgrade.
• Works with the user to ensure that all testing is executed as planned; documents user findings and develops solutions.
• Assists with the planning of change management, including release planning, training materials, and user communication.
• Maintains or upgrades existing systems, including coding, testing, and release.
• Contributes to the department continuous improvement culture.
• Maintains confidentiality of all matters.

Minimum Qualifications:

Four year college or university degree in Information Technology, Computer Sciences, Business or related field. or equivalent education and/or experience.
