Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a CNC and Laser Programmer/Operator in Dallas, TX. The role focuses on safely operating CNC routers and laser equipment, setting up tooling and files, and verifying CAD/CAM outputs.

You will inspect parts, troubleshoot issues, and maintain production records in a fast-paced shop. Ideal candidates will read blueprints, understand toolpaths and feeds, and lift up to 50 lbs while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC routers in woodworking, cabinetmaking, millwork, signage, fabrication, or manufacturing environments.
• Experience operating laser cutting and/or engraving equipment.
• Reading shop drawings, blueprints, and production instructions.
• Strong troubleshooting and quality inspection skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs., and maintain safety in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC routers and laser cutting/engraving equipment safely and efficiently.
• Set up materials, tooling, fixtures, machine parameters, and production files.
• Prepare, modify, and verify CAD/CAM files and toolpaths.
• Inspect first articles and finished products to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot machine, tooling, material, and programming issues to minimize scrap and downtime.
• Maintain organized job files, setup documentation, and production records.
• Perform basic machine maintenance, calibration checks, and safety inspections.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety and quality standards.
• Support production schedules through teamwork, quality control, and continuous improvement

Pay Rate: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule: 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM

Requirements
