Job summary

Arcadia Inc in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced CNC Operator to run a variety of CNC machines, set up, calibrate, and monitor production, and generate hourly quality checks and reports. You will read technical drawings, translate specs into precise dimensions, and ensure safe, efficient production while following defined procedures.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of CNC machine operations.
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring tools (gauges, calipers, etc.)
  • Ability to follow clearly defined procedures and work under supervisory direction.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 30+ lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret technical drawings to determine production specifications.
  • Translate part drawings into accurate measurements for production.
  • Set up and calibrate machines and tools for each job.
  • Operate CNC machines for tasks such as drilling, milling, and grinding.
  • Conduct test runs to verify machine accuracy and compliance with specifications.
  • Monitor machine output and perform quality inspections throughout the shift.
  • Record production data and prepare comprehensive reports for management.
  • Ensure all machine procedures comply with company standards and safety protocols.
  • Clean and inspect machines and work areas at the end of each shift.
  • Participate in training sessions and safety meetings.

Summary/Objective

We are seeking an experienced CNC Operator to run a variety of CNC machines and help enhance the productivity of our organization. This role involves setting up, calibrating, and operating CNC equipment, performing hourly quality checks, monitoring machine output, and generating detailed production reports for management.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Physical Demands
  • Regular standing, reaching, and use of hands/fingers to operate tools and machinery
  • Frequent walking and standing; occasional stooping, kneeling, or crouching
  • Ability to stand and bend for extended periods (up to 10 hours per shift)
  • Regularly lift/move up to 10 lbs., frequently up to 25 lbs., and occasionally 30+ lbs.
