Daniel Defense in Black Creek, GA is seeking a Manufacturing Technician 1 - Aluminum to operate CNC machinery and provide production support under direct supervision. Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
1+ years CNC experience or related experience preferred.
Ability to pass basic skills assessment in Mathematics, Metrology, Blueprint Reading, and Operator Work Instructions.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC machinery in the designated area (mill, lathe, gun drill, etc.) at an acceptable production level.
Load and unload raw materials safely in CNC equipment according to work instructions.
Monitor machines for unusual sounds or vibrations and report concerns to supervision.
Inspect produced parts using micrometers, dial indicators and other precision instruments.
Maintain and clean machines, tooling and fixtures; ensure clean work area and proper housekeeping.
Record production quantities accurately and clock in/out as required.
Participate in safety, 6S, quality, delivery and productivity initiatives.
