Job summary

AVNA is seeking a mechanically inclined individual to join our manufacturing team as a CNC Swiss setup/operator. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience setting up and running CNC Swiss machines, including Tsugami and Tornos equipment, and will maintain accurate logs and perform routine maintenance.

Responsibilities include setup, running multiple CNC Swiss and lathes, inspecting parts, making tool changes, and ensuring adherence to procedures and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of tooling concepts, machining practices, and troubleshooting and debugging processes.
• Solid knowledge of blueprint reading, production gauging, and geometrical tolerances.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and take on challenging tasks.
• Good communication skills.
• Good computer skills.
• Understanding and following written procedures.
• Following safety and 5S procedures.
• Good attendance.
• Quality minded and responsible for their work.
• Ability to lift moderate loads regularly (under 40 lbs).

The ideal candidate must be mechanically inclined and have at least five years of experience setting up and running CNC Swiss machines. Equipment includes new Tsugami CNC Swiss, Tornos CNC Swiss, and the world's first production CNC Swiss combined Laser Cutting & Machining Lathe.
