To qualify for KARE, you'll need...

• A High School Diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience/training; or equivalent
• CNA license required
• Ability to lift at least 51 lbs and assist residents physically
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Experience with residents with memory impairment may be required for memory care areas

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escorting, laundry, and daily activities
• Following resident needs as directed by your supervisor
• Providing emotional and social support
• Supporting dining staff and assisting in the dining room if needed
• Being familiar with emergency procedures and equipment
• Maintaining professionalism and positivity with residents, families, visitors, and co-workers
