To qualify for KARE, you'll need...

• A High School Diploma or GED, or 1-3 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent
• CNA license required
• The ability to lift at least 51 lbs and assist residents physically
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Experience with residents with memory impairment is preferred for memory care areas

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escorting, laundry, and daily activities
• Following residents' care plans set by supervisors
• Providing emotional and social support
• Supporting dining staff and assisting in the dining room if needed
• Being familiar with emergency procedures and equipment
• Maintaining professionalism and a positive attitude
