Job summary

St. Charles Health System Inc. is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Bend, OR to provide patient-focused care across units.

You will assist with ADLs, monitor vital signs, document in the EHR, and support safety and infection control protocols. Eligible candidates must hold an Oregon CNA certificate and BLS; completion of SCHS CNA training is required within 45 days of hire. The role includes 40-hour weekly shifts on first shift; prior CNA or patient-care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant with Oregon State Board of Nursing certification.
• Completion of SCHS CNA training within 45 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, and mobility.
• Record vital signs and report abnormalities.
• Support fall-prevention and safe patient movement.
• Maintain infection control and PPE protocol.
• Document care in the EHR and coordinate with nursing staff.
• Transport patients, specimens and supplies as needed.
• May perform additional duties (telemetry leads, NG suction, CPM, etc.).
