Job summary

Berkshire Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in West Babylon, NY is seeking a reliable Certified Nursing Assistant to join our 175-bed skilled facility to provide compassionate resident care.

You will respond to call bells, assist with grooming, feeding, mobility, and uphold HIPAA compliance while delivering direct and indirect care in a respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Currently certified by the New York State Department of Health (new grads encouraged to apply)
• Must be able to lift residents (minimum 50 pounds) and turn and position numerous times throughout the day
• Must have the ability to transfer a resident from sitting to standing position and vice versa
• Must have the ability to climb stairs, bend, maneuver equipment and push small carts

Job description

If you’re a reliable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant, Berkshire Nursing & Rehabilitation Center wants to meet you! It is a 175-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in West Babylon. Our mission is to provide the highest level of care for each of our residents.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will be responsible for performing a variety of care practices including:
