Job summary
Berkshire Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in West Babylon, NY is seeking reliable and compassionate CNAs to join our care team. You will assist residents with daily living activities and help ensure comfort and safety for every resident.
Requirements include a current NYS CNA certification, the ability to lift at least 50 lbs, mobility assistance and transfers, and a patient, caring attitude. New graduates welcome to apply and all shifts are available.
Qualifications
- CNA must be currently certified by NYS.
- Candidates should demonstrate compassion and reliability.
- Ability to work with residents needing assistance with daily living tasks.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to call bells and resident needs
- Assist residents with grooming, hygiene, and personal care
- Support mealtime by helping with trays and feeding as needed
- Safely assist residents with mobility, including transfers and transport to activities
- Provide direct and indirect resident care in accordance with care plans
