Job summary

Delmar Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a skilled CNA to provide compassionate care to residents, monitor vital signs, and assist with daily living activities. The role supports nurses and staff to ensure quality care in a supportive environment.

The ideal candidate has a state-approved CNA certification, a High School diploma or GED, and strong communication and teamwork skills to handle a fast-paced facility setting. Excellent bedside manner and empathy are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of a state-approved CNA certification training course.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and to handle multiple tasks safely and effectively.
• Good communication skills and empathy when interacting with residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities including delivering meals and turning/ambulating patients.
• Help residents with personal hygiene including bathing, shampoos and showers.
• Check vital signs and record daily information in patient charts.
• Assist nurses and other staff as needed.
• Adhere to professional standards and follow policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

Job Description We are looking for a skilled CNA (DE-Certified Nursing Assistant) to become a part of our facility and the compassionate care-giving team. The CNA will interact directly with patients, providing comfort and care, monitoring their vital signs and assisting with daily living needs. We are searching for a dedicated, compassionate and energetic individual to be a vital link between our patients and the nurses and other facility staff.

Tasks:

• Assist with daily living activities. This includes delivering meals to patients, turning and ambulating patients
• Help patients with personal hygiene. Provide residents with bathing, shampoos and showers
• Check vital signs and record daily information in the patient's chart
• Assist the nurses and other staff as needed
• Adhere to professional standards, follow policies and procedures and abide by federal, state and local requirements, as well as Joint Commission standards
