Job summary

Aspen Hill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a CNA for weekend coverage. The role focuses on providing compassionate, hands-on care to residents on Saturdays and Sundays, with two shift options and a 5-weekend-on/1-weekend-off rotation.

Position is PRN with two weekend day parts, offering meaningful patient interaction, teamwork with licensed staff, and opportunities to grow within a supportive long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current CNA license in the state of employment.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work weekends and deliver compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care under supervision of licensed staff.
• Assist residents with ADLs: feeding, bathing, dressing, mobility, linens.
• Provide supportive care to meet physical and emotional needs.
• Observe residents and report changes promptly to nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Support nursing staff to deliver high-quality, resident-centered care.

7 am - 3 pm | 3 pm - 11 pm

5 weekends in a row, 6th weekend off

$25 per hour

Responsibilities for CNAs:

• Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff in a safe, compassionate, and respectful manner.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and changing linens.
• Provide supportive care and services to ensure residents’ physical, emotional, and daily living needs are consistently met.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to nursing staff in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity and well‑being for all residents.
• Support nursing staff and the care team in delivering high‑quality, resident‑centered care.

Qualifications for CNAs:

• Must hold a current, active, and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of employment.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to providing high‑quality resident care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately and consistently.
