Job summary

Aspen Hill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a CNA Weekend Warrior to join our team in Maryland. This PRN weekend role covers Saturday and Sunday shifts, with two available time blocks and a rotating weekend schedule. The position offers daily pay and a $25 hourly rate.

You will support licensed nursing staff, assist residents with daily living activities, and help maintain a safe, dignified, and comfortable environment for all residents.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, active CNA license in Maryland.
• Valid BLS/CPR certification required.
• Ability to work effectively with residents in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care under supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living (feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, linens).
• Provide supportive care to meet residents’ physical and emotional needs.
• Observe residents and report changes to nursing staff promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, comfortable environment.
• Support nursing staff in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.

Responsibilities for CNAs:

• Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff in a safe, compassionate, and respectful manner.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and changing linens.
• Provide supportive care and services to ensure residents’ physical, emotional, and daily living needs are consistently met.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to nursing staff in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity and well‑being for all residents.
• Support nursing staff and the care team in delivering high‑quality, resident‑centered care.

Qualifications for CNAs:

• Must hold a current, active, and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of employment.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to providing high‑quality resident care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately and consistently.
