Job summary

MEP Health in North Carolina is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate home care to clients in their residences. You will perform basic daily living activities, support mobility, and help maintain comfort and safety.

You will document care, use EVV/time sheets, and collaborate with a care team to follow each client's care plan. A valid DFS CNA certification and high school diploma or GED are required; strong communication and physical stamina are essential.

Qualifications

• Must maintain valid DFS CNA certification.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with transfers.

• Ensure confidentiality, privacy, and uphold patients' rights.
• Report any abuse, neglect, or unsafe environments immediately.
• Assist clients in promoting independence within their capabilities.

Qualifications & Skills

• Maintain valid certification with DFS.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Effective communication skills, including reading, writing, and following directions.
• Physical ability to lift approximately 50 lbs, bend, stand, and perform necessary tasks.
• Compassionate attitude toward sick individuals.
