Job summary

MercyOne Dubuque is seeking a CNA/Unit Secretary to perform clerical, receptionist and assistive duties under the supervision of a registered nurse and the Director. The role supports care that reflects the MercyOne mission and values.

This full-time position requires day shifts with weekend and holiday rotation, and offers opportunities for growth within MercyOne Health System.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be on the Iowa CNA registry.
• Must have certification in a 75-hour CNA program.
• Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training within 6 months of hire and every 3 years thereafter.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required within 30 days of hire and every 2 years thereafter.

Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a CNA/Unit Secretary! As a CNA/Unit Secretary at MercyOne, you will perform clerical, receptionist and assistive duties under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse and the Director. The US/CNA completes clerical work and provides holistic, compassionate, individualized, and effective patient care as well as meeting other physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our patients consistent with the mission, vision, values and cultural beliefs of MercyOne, evidence-based standards of care, and established policies and procedures.

Schedule: Full time 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week) Day shift Weekend and holiday rotation required

General Requirements
