Job summary

Mercyhealth in Wisconsin seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to support patient care across units. You will process orders, charges, and documentation while answering calls and guiding visitors, ensuring a clean and safe environment in line with standards and shift routines.

Hospitals’ teams expect flexibility to float between units and participate in improvement activities; CPR/BLS must be obtained within 90 days. 24 hours weekly, day shift.

Qualifications

• Completion of a CNA program; advanced CNA preferred.
• Completion of a Unit Clerk course or equivalent on the job training.

Responsibilities

• Processes orders and patient charges in a timely manner.
• Answers the telephone and call lights; relays messages.
• Maintains medical records and patient environment.
• Floats to units as needed; participates in performance improvement.
• Verifies accuracy of charges entered; assists with care documentation.
